Harrison and the UP360 team specialize in developing practical education based experiences with virtual reality and augmented reality technologies.

“Virtual Reality – The Future of Experiential Learning”
Harrison will cover what VR is and what it isn’t. How it triggers the part of the brain that controls emotion and fight or flight responses. He will provide a quick demo with an audience member to show this concept in real-time. He will finish with where he believes the industry is headed.

Simone Ferreira is an accomplished “Go to Market” strategist for disruptive technologies including; Artificial Intelligence, Blockchain, Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality.

As the CEO of TMT Analysts (To Market Technologies), Simone helps enterprises deploy disruptive technology in a meaningful and profitable manner. She has countless successes bringing new innovative applications to market quickly.

Brad Sears is an engineer with a software, hardware, multimedia and quality assurance background. During his work with iThentic he has developed or produced 85+ games with millions of plays, web sites, apps and web applications.

Notable projects include Corner Gas, Odd Job Jack, Erky Perky, the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television, Turbo Dogs Online, Pillars of Freedom, Finding Stuff Out Online, the GeoFreakZ MMOG for Teletoon, Canada’s Smartest Person for CBC, and 10k Hours VR. Brad’s current focus is Virtual Reality/AR development and photogrammetry in Unity.

“Taking a 3D scan to low poly PBR Unity asset workflow”
2 years ago Brad became fascinated with photogrammetry examples. He began tests with no Unity and little 3D experience. After lots of experiments, all the tutorials and a little help, a workflow emerged that can produce high quality results.

He will share this workflow and his references with us and talk about his team’s low budget room scale VR documentary pilot: 10k VR : Sean McColl
