Speaker #1: Rob Virdee, Strategic QA Thought Leadership & Technology Executive

Rob Virdee has over 20 years experience in the IT QA and Automation world. In his deep and varied career he has advanced the causes and practice of test automation thru thought leadership, architecture, methodology, delivery, oversight, and continuous improvement. Rob has occupied roles including Test Automation Architect. Program Test Manager, Test Delivery Manager, Lead Auditor/Assessor, and QA Coach/Advisor in all manner of application and systems’ subject matter. His experience has seen him consult in the insurance-, pension-, defence-, banking-, communications-, broadcast-, retail-, and healthcare- industries where he has successfully applied core, innovative, and continually improving test automation design techniques, methods, and principles to bring out the best- and most holistic- test automation solutions.

Archana is a QA Manager at FinanceIt. She is an advocate for the unique value testers can bring into the ever changing software industry. Having worked in various industries (airline, online marketing, Saas, FinTech, etc), Archana has come to realizing that despite being worlds apart, the problems faced by software builders is astonishingly similar wherever she goes. Her latest gig is in FinTech where she started as the sole tester in the team. Now the job has evolved into overseeing a team of testers who she mentors, coaches and ultimately, empowers to take on problems of their own.

When she isn’t glued to screens, she spends her time traveling, appreciating food (cooking and eating) and spending time in nature. She doesn’t care much for social media but if you email her, she would love to grab coffee with you.

After working more than decade in major organizations worldwide, Manish set out to create a platform that could substantially improve product delivery. The result — CATS (Complete Automated Testing Solution) — gives organizations clarity and total visibility into automated testing and efficiencies. Manish’s experience with the company’s clients, as well as previous stints building and managing complex test automation frameworks, has given him an insider’s view of the challenges facing testing and driven him to develop solutions for tackling tough management issues: How to meet customer demands and strict service level agreement requirements, all while reducing expenses incurred in testing.

Mick Mesic is an Enterprise Testing Consultant with DXC (HPE) with over 25 years of the IT experience. Responsibilities include leading test solutioning, delivery, and sales for the variety of the globally distributed accounts, across all major industries and technical testing disciplines. In addition, Mick contributes to the innovative technical and service delivery testing solutions, such as TaaS and test tools hosting and development.
